Joe Asher
President & Chief Executive Officer
Joe Asher is a respected figure in the sports betting industry, known for his leadership and entrepreneurial drive. He founded Brandywine Bookmaking in 2008 and later served as the CEO of William Hill U.S. from its acquisition of Brandywine in 2012 until the company’s sale in 2021. Joe’s passion for the industry began early – he started calling horse races as a teenager, a tradition he proudly continues to this day. Now, that same passion is fueling his latest venture: launching a new independent sportsbook in Las Vegas, where he lives with his wife and three children.
Nick, born and raised in Las Vegas, brings over three decades of sportsbook experience to his role as Head of Trading, where he oversees the creation and management of betting markets, pricing, and risk management across all sports. He has held director roles at venues like Binion’s Horseshoe, Mandalay Bay, Club Cal-Neva, and William Hill, and most recently served as Sportsbook Trading Manager at Circa Sports from 2022 to 2024. In his role, Nick monitors odds, manages exposure, and collaborates closely with analysts and technology teams to deliver a balanced and competitive sportsbook offering. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Lewis-Clark State College. When he’s not working, Nick enjoys golfing, watching games, and spending time with his wife and their two boys, Jacob and Noah.
David got his start in hospitality before jumping into sports betting, where he took on a leadership role at William Hill in 2013. He helped grow the retail side from 100 sportsbooks in Nevada to over 170 across the U.S. and The Bahamas—making it the biggest casino-based footprint out there. Along the way, he played a key role in taking the first legal bet after PASPA was overturned and helped launch sportsbooks in spots like Capital One Arena and Chase Field. David went to The College of William and Mary and loves traveling with his wife Robin, their crew of kids, and grandson Beau.
As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Debinique focuses on developing strategic HR initiatives that attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent. With more than 20 years of progressive HR experience spanning sports betting, hospitality, public and non-profit sectors, including leadership roles at Ellis Properties, Caesars Digital, and William Hill US she brings deep expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, and building collaborative relationships with business leaders. Debinique is passionate about practicing a proactive HR philosophy that removes obstacles and unleashes individual potential to drive business success. A Liverpool F.C. supporter by marriage and devoted Bay Area sports fan, she cheers for all the Bay Area teams with one notable exception- she’s scared of sharks, so she's all-in for the Vegas Golden Knights when it comes to hockey!
Andrew Patterson was born and raised in Las Vegas and brings deep expertise in the Nevada gaming market and online sportsbook management to our team as Vice President of Mobile. Andrew serves as both the commercial and product owner of our mobile business, overseeing everything from revenue growth and customer acquisition strategies to product development and user experience. He’s known for blending data-driven insight with a sharp understanding of regulation, skills honed through years of managing high-volume in-play and pre-match products. In his 20+ years in the industry, he has held a variety of roles across all aspects of the business. Andrew enjoys attending local sporting events and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Gina Cervone leads all legal and compliance efforts for Boomer’s Sportsbook, ensuring the company stays in line with federal and state laws as well as gaming regulations. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, she served on the Nevada Gaming Law Journal, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Comparative Gaming Law, and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable James C. Mahan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. Away from the office, she and her fiancé are busy raising their energetic doxiepoo, JoJo.
Desirae began her marketing career as an intern in Caesars Entertainment’s Hospitality Marketing Department during her final semester at UNLV, later earning a full-time role in their POD Marketing team. After four years with Caesars, she spent another four years as a Marketing Manager at Circa Hospitality Group, gaining broad experience across all areas of marketing. Now, as Director of Marketing for Boomer’s Sportsbook, Desirae leads brand development and customer engagement for Nevada’s newest independent sportsbook. At home, she and her husband are raising four busy boys and are fully immersed in the world of youth sports. Her husband coaches, she’s the team mom, and most days are spent bouncing between baseball fields and wrestling mats.
