Historic Gaming Destination

The Commercial was built in 1869 and originally operated as the Humboldt Lodging House. It changed ownership in 1893 and was officially renamed the Commercial in 1941, coinciding with the rise of legalized gaming in Nevada. One of the property’s most iconic features is White King, a full-sized polar bear who has stood proudly in the same spot inside the Commercial since his arrival in 1958. Today, the Commercial also partners with the nearby Stockmen’s Casino located just yards away catering to those who enjoy the gaming action.
